Idarica Gazzoni

Lately I have been coveting wallpapers and fabrics
by Italian designer Idarica Gazzoni....

The designer in Milan with a slipper chair covered in Mumtaz Bloom....the large scale print is fabulous...

House Beautiful featured this pomegranate themed wallpaper from the Arjumand collection....
named after the Persian Mogul princess who had 14 sons...

This "Day Screen" wallpaper print mimics wood
screens seen in Marrakesh or Jaipur...

Sofa Luxe
Russian Elle Decor featured this moody room with the sofa on the right in Tulip Sway...the tromp l'oeil painting in the background is incredible...

Other patterns in softer hues...

Martyn Lawrence-Bullard Designs
Get the same effect for less with a painted stencil...
This velvet covered Augustus console designed by London interior designer Alidad would be perfect mixed with Gazzoni fabrics....

Until next time....

LATELY....

Things have been haywire personally and amazingly busy work wise on my end for the past few months...Now I'm catching up with everything including Decor Dose posting which is long overdue!

I hope Dolly is right cause the last few
months have been a doozy!

SOOOOO....
To catch you all up here is a bit of what I've been up to lately...

The shoot I assisted with involved lots of adorable chicks, chicken/rooster chasing, delicious tail-gating and kids driving heavy machinery....
Oh yes and lots more chicken/rooster chasing!!

It was a top secret photo shoot so I'll spill the beans on
details when I'm allowed but you can buy fresh farm produce, milk, cheeses, butter, yogurt and eggs at my friend Svetlana's farm if you live in Palm Beach County, Florida.

I know it is showing up everywhere but I'm obsessed
with the hand painted wallpaper in the rooms below!!

I took a quick trip to NYC for the TEXWORLD
show at the Javits Center....NYC never ceases to inspire.
We were in a hurry so a quick bite and glass of Rose' at Eataly at happy hour hit the spot.  It was packed!

While in NYC I discovered two fabulous
trimming finds in the garment district you must check out:

Gorgeous hand made things....antique metallic beads and tassels...could have spent the day but had to rush....

Mokuba is awesome!!
Beautiful trims in hard to find colors and textures like leather, metallic and feathers....I spent an hour looking and didn't scratch the surface.

And back home on the Mommy front....

A trip to the Smithsonian with the Pre-k class.....it was a hoot hearing their take on ancient bronze artifacts.

And finally this gorgeous pair of arrangements made by Secret Garden Florist in Georgetown.  Can't rate them high enough....to be fair these were a week old when I took the photo but her work is amazing if you are in need of a florist and live in the DC VA MD area.

Hope all of you are enjoying these last days of summer as they are flying by too fast.
