Portola Paints

While in LA my lovely friend introduced me to
Portola Paints.

With limitless palates and a stunning showroom it could
almost be paint utopia....I wish my office looked like this!

Here are a few Portola acrylic paint color cards
with fabrics I chose...

shown on Vervain fabric

shown on Raoul fabric

shown on Quadrille fabric

Bermuda looks heavenly and I love Black Rasberry and GI Green!

The swatch cards are artfully made with
brushstrokes of the various shades....so much prettier than the typical paint color wheels.

On another note this photo makes me completely envious.  Have always wanted wall to wall carpet like this!
Many of my clients have used this hemp as an area rug but this application is stunning.

Pleasing to the eye, soft underfoot with hand woven borders and made without chemicals and synthetic materials?
I am definitely obsessed!

Until next time,
t

Crushing on Luli Sanchez

I discovered Luli Sanchez and her work on Pinterest over the weekend and can't believe I haven't heard of her before.
Her work is marvelous!  Apparently she had a career creating textiles for the fashion industry but I think her work would be fantastic blown up on a huge canvas and hung up on the wall...

This one happens to be my favorite:

Heading To the West!

Tomorrow is a big day for me...

I'm heading to LA to continue working on the launch of a new venture so it is very exciting!  Although I love designing homes, there are a few other tricks I have up my sleeve.

I find most creative people are like that and so it is with me....I will be working with several wonderful women including my old business partner and my new one so I will have lots to share with you.

Sorry to be cryptic but hopefully after a few more weeks it will come to fruition after much hard work.  Bear with me as my posts may be a bit on the lighter side.

Also I have hired Fabulous K to rework my blog so I'm hoping she comes up with something....uhhh...fabulous?!

pinboard from fabulouskblog.com

Here is a link to her portfolio....make sure you sign up for her blog as it is full of eye candy as are the sites she creates!

I'll leave you with some wonderful chill out samba
I discovered from the movie

about the legendary Brazilian Formula 1 driver....
Amazing documentary by the way.
Check it out if you have the chance....

Thanks for following....and wish me luck!
